The Quayside was originally an industrial area which was regenerated in the 80’s turning it into a fashionable residential, shopping and leisure district located on the banks of the Tyne. There is now a superb selection of riverside houses and flats to let in the Quayside district of Newcastle. As well as residential properties, Quayside offers a superb selection of restaurants, Bars, shops and Nightclubs making it the place to go for a night out in Newcastle. Quayside has excellent road transport links as four bridges cross the River Tyne at the Quayside: The High Level Bridge, the Swing bridge, the famous Tyne Bridge and the most recently added the Millennium Bridge. In addition the area is served by the Quay link bus route, which connects Quayside with Monument, Haymarket, Central station and Gateshead Quays. For those who enjoy cycling, there is a path along the river which is part of the National Cycle Network and connects east towards North Shields and west towards Hexham. Let KIS lettings help you find the ideal properties to let in Newcastle Quayside.
